Recently, TOPEV learned from Great Wall Motors that the Tank 500 Hi4-Z will start its pre-sale on December 3. Compared to the standard version, the new car is equipped with a new plug-in hybrid off-road platform, featuring a decoupled four-wheel-drive structure and improved power performance.

In terms of appearance, the Tank 500 Hi4-Z closely follows the design of the standard version. The large air intake grille is highly recognizable, while the rugged chrome accents create a striking visual effect that commands attention without aggression.

The side design remains stable and dignified, with the Tank 500 Hi4-Z also featuring a pedal for easier passenger entry and exit. Unlike the standard version, the new model sports an exclusive red-and-white gradient paint, and the tail logo is replaced with "Hi4-Z," further enhancing its distinctiveness.

The interior features the traditional "T" shape design, with abundant leather and wood grain accents. The dual-tone interior enhances the sense of luxury. In terms of configuration, the new car is equipped with a full LCD instrument panel and a large central control screen, similar to the regular version.

For the power system, the new vehicle is powered by a plug-in hybrid decoupled four-wheel-drive setup, consisting of a 2.0T engine and front and rear dual motors. The system's total combined power reaches 715 kW, allowing for a 0-100 km/h acceleration in just 4 seconds. Even in power-saving mode, the vehicle can still achieve a 0-100 km/h acceleration in 5 seconds. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 59.05 kWh battery, providing a pure electric range of over 200 km under WLTC conditions.
