Exterior Design
At the front, the new M2 CS features a distinctive grille-less dual kidney intake design and a more aggressive front bumper. Aerodynamic upgrades throughout the body contribute to a cleaner yet more dynamic look. At the rear, a prominent CSL-style ducktail spoiler is seamlessly integrated into the carbon fiber trunk lid. Below it sits a quad exhaust system flanked by a subtle rear diffuser. The car rides on bronze-colored multi-spoke wheels paired with red brake calipers, adding to its performance-focused aesthetics.

From the side, the M2 CS adopts semi-recessed door handles and is equipped with dark gold multi-spoke wheels, large red calipers, and carbon-ceramic brake discs. Reports indicate that the vehicle also features a carbon fiber hood and a lightweight custom exhaust system to support weight reduction.

Interior Features
Inside, the new M2 CS retains the familiar cabin layout of the standard M2, including a flat-bottom D-shaped multifunction steering wheel with a red center marker. The curved floating display, a common feature in newer BMW models, remains present. However, the CS variant adds distinctive materials, with extensive use of carbon fiber and Alcantara to enhance both the sporty atmosphere and lightweight performance.

The model is fitted with M Carbon bucket seats featuring illuminated "CS" logos, electric adjustment, and heating functions. Additional "CS" branding is also integrated into the door panels with illuminated elements, further reinforcing the car's exclusivity.

Performance
Powering the new M2 CS is a rear-wheel-drive system paired with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo inline-six engine producing 530 hp and 650 Nm of torque-an increase of 50 hp and 50 Nm over the standard M2. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, enabling a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.8 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than the regular version. Furthermore, the suspension system, including springs, dampers, and chassis control, has been specially tuned for the CS to deliver sharper handling and track-ready performance.
