The MONA L05 adopts Xpeng's "spaceship" design language, featuring distinctive spaceship-inspired headlights and a full-width Star-Ring taillight for strong nighttime recognition. Frameless doors are standard across the range, a notable feature in its price segment.

The SUV measures 4,870 mm long, 1,930 mm wide, with a 2,940 mm wheelbase. The reported space-utilization rate is approximately 87%, and the minimum turning radius is 5.4 m. Cargo capacity is 702 L, expanding to 1,913 L with the rear seats folded. Battery-electric versions also offer a 102 L front trunk.

Interior and Cabin Technology

The cabin features a dual-layer floating dashboard, more than 74% soft-touch trim coverage, a velvet headliner, and a 4.6 m ambient-light strip with 256 colors. Equipment includes a 17.3-inch central touchscreen, 5G connectivity, and 50 W wireless charging for the front row.

The rear row offers 1,010 mm of headroom and 1,063 mm of passenger space, supporting the model's large five-seat SUV positioning. The front passenger zero-gravity seat features 14-point massage, while the rear seatback supports 11° of powered adjustment. A 20-speaker audio system is also listed.

Intelligent Driving Assistance

The Xpeng MONA L05 features Xpeng's second-generation VLA intelligent driving system, with Max and Ultra SE configurations. The higher-spec version is listed with computing power of up to 1,500 TOPS, bringing advanced driver-assistance capabilities to a lower price segment.

Its WLTC fuel consumption with a depleted battery is listed at 5.03 L/100 km, and fast charging takes approximately 15 minutes.

Listed safety equipment includes seven airbags, liquid-cooled battery protection, and an eight-year/160,000 km warranty for the electric drive system. The vehicle is also described as supporting stable driving after a tire blowout and assistance when the driver becomes incapacitated.
