Voyah Soulmate with 800V Architecture to Start Pre-Sales on August 30th.
On August 23, we learned from Voyah Automotive that their fourth model, the Voyah Soulmate, will begin pre-sales at the 2024 Chengdu Auto Show, opening on August 30. Notably, this new car is the first model developed on Voyah's new-generation, self-developed pure electric platform. Unlike the Voyah Free, Voyah Dreamer, and Voyah Passion, the Voyah Soulmate is exclusively available in a pure electric version and will be sold globally.
In terms of appearance, the Voyah Soulmate features a through-type light strip design, complemented by a three-stage air intake at the bottom, giving it a sporty look. The rear design is more family-oriented, with a recognizable through-type light strip. Additionally, the car includes a roof spoiler, a trunk ducktail design, and a diffuser. The vehicle dimensions are 4725 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1636 mm (1653 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 2900 mm.
Inside, the Voyah Soulmate's center console is characterized by straight, simple lines. The floating center console screen and three-spoke multi-function steering wheel contribute to a sophisticated visual texture. The car also features a storage slot for two mobile phones in the armrest, which includes wireless charging functionality.
For power, the Voyah Soulmate is equipped with Voyah's latest Lanhai pure electric power system and an 800V electric drive system. According to previous declarations, the vehicle will offer both two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive versions. The four-wheel drive version features a combined maximum power of 160 kW from the front and rear motors, a battery capacity of 76.9 kWh/77.3 kWh, and a range of 570 kilometers. The two-wheel drive version with the same battery specifications delivers a maximum power of 215 kW and a range of 625 kilometers. Additionally, a two-wheel drive model with a maximum drive motor power of 230 kW will be equipped with a ternary lithium battery pack provided by CATL, with battery capacities of 78.7 kWh and 108.7 kWh, offering ranges of 650 km and 901 km, respectively.
The car also features 5C supercharging technology, allowing for a charging capacity of 515 km in just 15 minutes. As Voyah's first global pure electric model, the Voyah Soulmate is developed and designed to meet the double five-star standard (C-NCAP+E-NCAP). On June 28, Voyah Automobile received the intelligent network test license from Wuhan City, indicating L4 level autonomous driving road test capabilities.
