On September 3, we learned from Hongmeng Zhixing's official Weibo that the Luxeed R7 will enter pre-sale on September 10. The car, positioned as a mid-size SUV, has previously been available for pre-order. The estimated price ranges from 40,000 to 55,000 US dollars.
In a brief overview, the Luxeed R7 features a design similar to the Luxeed S7. The closed front grille is paired with teardrop headlights on both sides, offering good recognition. Additionally, the large, narrow air intake at the bottom of the car is equipped with an active air intake grille (AGS) to optimize wind resistance. The top of the car is also fitted with a 192-line laser radar.

From the side, the Luxeed R7 adopts a fastback shape, enhancing its sporty appearance. At the rear, the new car features a through-type taillight design and a hatchback tailgate for improved daily storage convenience. For body color, in addition to the classic Ceramic White, Space Gray, Gilded Black, and Metropolitan Red, two new colors-Phantom Purple and Sunlight Blue-are available, offering a total of six colors to choose from.

In terms of dimensions, the Luxeed R7 measures 4956mm in length, 1981mm in width, and 1634mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2950mm. For power, the new car will continue to be equipped with Huawei's motor system, and the entire series will come standard with an 800V silicon carbide high-voltage platform, CDC continuously variable damping shock absorbers, and air suspension. Its maximum cruising range under CLTC conditions is 802km, and it will be equipped with HUAWEI ADS 3.0 end-to-end humanoid driving.
