On August 15, the Tank 400 fuel version was officially launched. The appearance and interior of the new model are consistent with the Tank 400 Hi4-T. It is equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged engine, and its price is expected to be lower than that of the Tank 400 Hi4-T, which currently ranges from $40,200 to $40,800. The introduction of the Tank 400 fuel version will expand the price range.

In terms of appearance, the Tank 400 features a mecha-style exterior design with a rugged overall style. Compared to the angular Tank 300, the Tank 400 has a more aggressive appearance. The headlights with lenses are connected to the central grille, and the two chrome-plated decorative grilles in the center add a handsome touch. The front bumper is also thick and exudes power.

From the side, the Tank 400's outward-expanding wheel arches and rivet design give it a wild look, while the blackened wheels enhance the off-road feel. The windows behind the C-pillar have an irregular shape, offering a distinctive visual effect. The vehicle's dimensions are 4985mm in length, 1960mm in width, and 1905mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2850mm.

At the rear, the unique taillight design of the Tank 400 is eye-catching. The rear is equipped with an external spare tire, partially enclosed by a cover. The tailgate opens sideways, and the rear bumper's design complements the front of the car. The approach angle is 33°, the departure angle is 31°, the minimum ground clearance is 235mm, and the wading depth is 800mm. The ground clearance and departure angle are slightly better than those of the Tank 400 Hi4-T.

Inside, despite being a hardcore SUV, the Tank 400 boasts a luxurious interior, with the center console and materials paying great attention to detail.

The fuel version of the Tank 400 is equipped with a 12.3-inch LCD instrument panel and a 16.2-inch ultra-large central control screen. The car's infotainment system will be equipped with version V1.3, supporting HiCar, ICCOA, and DLNA connectivity. Additionally, it features functions such as traffic light timing, team navigation, and a red line for navigation destinations. The seats are spacious and comfortable, offering a pleasant experience in both the front and rear rows.

In terms of power, the new Tank 400 is equipped with a new generation 2.0T engine, delivering a maximum power of 180 kW and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. It accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 9.7 seconds, with a WLTC combined fuel consumption of 9.85 L/100 km. It is paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission (9AT). The new model includes L2 assisted driving, offering lane departure warning, lane merging assistance, blind spot detection, collision warning, and more.

For off-road capabilities, the new model features a mechanical four-wheel-drive system, including a low-speed four-wheel-drive mode. It is equipped with up to three locking differentials, supports tank turns and creep mode, offers optional AT tires, and includes 12 all-terrain driving modes with a 50:50 power distribution between the front and rear axles.
