Since its initial deliveries at the end of last year, the Tesla Cybertruck has been photographed multiple times at various traffic accident scenes. Recently, however, it was involved in its most serious accident yet, aside from a previous incident where a Cybertruck caught fire in a collision a few months ago. Reports indicate that a Cybertruck was nearly destroyed after hitting a statue in Guadalajara, Mexico, drawing widespread attention.

The accident occurred over the weekend. Photos shared on social media show the Cybertruck overturned in the middle of the road, with severe damage to both the front and rear of the vehicle, as well as impact marks on both sides. Even more startling, three tires and wheels were knocked off, indicating a massive impact force. Although the vehicle was almost unrecognizable, the three passengers miraculously escaped serious injuries, highlighting the sturdiness of the Cybertruck.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk also noticed the accident. He shared photos of the damaged Cybertruck on the social platform X, describing the Cybertruck as "tough as a bag of nails." He tweeted: "This Cybertruck is almost unrecognizable, but it saved three lives." Many users expressed concerns about Cybertruck's safety. Despite the severe damage, the vehicle successfully protected most of its passengers.

According to local Mexican media Monclova, there were four people in the vehicle at the time of the accident. One passenger, an 18-year-old woman, was ejected from the vehicle and found on the side of the road. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Although the other three passengers sustained minor injuries, they were also taken to the hospital for observation.

Notably, this is not the only recent Cybertruck accident in Mexico. Just days earlier, a 23-year-old driver crashed another Cybertruck into the wall of a residential house in San Miguel, Mexico, resulting in significant front-end damage. Fortunately, the driver was not seriously injured.
