Zhejiang-based Geely Holding Group ("Geely Holding") announced on Monday that its car sales reached approximately 184,200 units in the second month of 2024.

Of the vehicles sold by the group last month, 64,300 units were new energy vehicles (NEVS), an increase of 5% compared to the same period last year and accounting for 35% of Geely Holding's total vehicle sales.
Geely Holding unites key automotive companies such as Geely Auto Group, Volvo Cars, PROTON, Lynch & Co, Lotus Cars, Polestar, LEVC (a London-based electric vehicle company), smart, RADAR and Farizon Auto.

Geely Auto Group, which includes the automotive brands Geely, Lynk & Co, ZEEKR and Lifan, reported sales of 111,398 units for February 2024, indicating an increase of 3% year-on-year. During the month, sales of new energy vehicles totaled 33,508 units, which is 48% more than a year earlier.

Analyzing the indicators of individual Geely Auto Group brands, it can be noted that the monthly sales of the Geely brand in February reached 90,679 units, demonstrating an increase compared to the previous year. Lynx Monthly Sales Volume & Co totaled 13,209 units, an increase of more than 9% year-on-year. It is noteworthy that ZEEKR showed significant year-on-year growth of 38%, with a total volume of 7,510 units per month.In addition, Volvo Cars, part of the Geely Holding Group, recorded global sales of 50,315 units in February, 44% of which were in the NEV range. During the same period of time, PROTON sold 13,602 cars.
