Exlantix ES To Launch Extended-range Version,expected in December

A few days ago, it was reported through relevant channels that the Exlantix ES new car will launch a range-extended version, expected to go on sale within December. The overall design of the new car is largely consistent with the pure electric version, but it is equipped with a power system consisting of a 1.5T range extender engine and a lithium iron phosphate battery.

Exterior Design

Exlantix ES the range-extended version shares most of its design with the pure electric version. It features a closed front grille, LED daytime running light strips that span the front face, and ISD interactive headlights, giving it a modern and avant-garde look. The side profile continues with a coupe-style design, featuring hidden door handles and a low drag coefficient of just 0.205Cd, showcasing a unique aesthetic.

Dimensions

The new car's body dimensions are 4945mm (length) × 1978mm (width) × 1480mm (height) (1467mm for the lower variant), with a wheelbase of 3000mm, positioning it as a mid-size sedan.

Rear Design

Exlantix ES at the rear, the design has been fine-tuned, with the addition of a diffuser-style lower surround that adds a sports car-like appearance. The car is equipped with two adjustable electric tail spoilers, enhancing the visual effect. The charging port is located on the left rear wing panel, and it is expected that the range-extended version will feature a new refueling port on the right rear wing panel.

Interior Design

Inside, Exlantix ES new car features a double-spoke steering wheel, ultra-narrow LCD instrumentation, and a floating center control screen, creating a high-tech atmosphere.

Configuration

Exlantix ES the range-extended version is expected to retain the features of the pure electric model, including dual 50W wireless charging pads for smartphones, seat ventilation/heating/massage, 256-color ambient lighting, and more.

Powertrain

Exlantix ES the range-extended version will be powered by a 1.5T range extender (codename: SQRH4J15) developed by Chery Automobile Co., producing a maximum power output of 115 kW. This engine will work in conjunction with an electric motor to form the range-extender power system.
