Recently, TOPEV learned through relevant channels that the Chery iCAR V23 will be officially launched today. Positioned as a pure electric compact SUV, the new vehicle was first showcased during its pre-sale phase at the 2024 Guangzhou Auto Show. Two models are being released, with a pre-sale price range of $15,000–$21,000.

The vehicle features a retro design style. The round headlights at the front contrast sharply with the square body, evoking the classic feel of an off-road vehicle. Additionally, the larger front bumper creates a robust and heavy appearance. The approach and departure angles of 43° and 35° respectively enhance its capability in outdoor off-road conditions.

The side profile is rugged, with short front and rear overhangs that further improve its approach and departure angles for better off-road performance. The inclusion of modern hidden door handles helps reduce the vehicle's drag coefficient, while fixed side steps provide added convenience for entering and exiting the car. The vehicle's dimensions are 4,220mm in length, 1,915mm in width, 1,845mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,730mm.

The rear design of the Chery iCAR V23 SUV car is distinctively styled. A "small backpack" feature is offset to the right, leaving space for the license plate on the left. Notably, this "small backpack" cannot be accessed externally but connects to the interior, serving as extra storage space. The tailgate opens sideways, with two anchor points reserved on the left side for future modifications.

The interior employs a design defined by clean, straight lines, giving it a youthful and stylish look. A large central control screen dominates the cabin, powered by the current mainstream Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, ensuring smooth system operation. However, the car does not have a traditional instrument cluster. Instead, essential driving information like speed is displayed via a HUD and the left section of the central control screen.

In terms of performance, the Chery iCAR V23 2025 offers both single-motor rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive options. The single-motor variant provides a maximum output of 100 kW, while the dual-motor model generates a combined output of 155 kW (55 kW front motor and 100 kW rear motor). The CLTC-rated pure electric range is 401 km for the single-motor version and 501 km for the dual-motor version.
