The styling of the 2024 BYD Seal 07 DM-i is essentially the same as the Haishang DM-i Honor Edition. The prominent "nose" on the swooping front, combined with the "flying shuttle" headlights on either side, gives the car a highly aggressive appearance. The frameless, banner-style front grille further enhances the visual impact, while the exaggerated "C"-shaped air ducts and trapezoidal lower grille add a strong sense of sportiness.
The dimensions of the 2024 BYD Seal 07 DM-i remain at 4980/1890/1495mm (L/W/H), with a wheelbase of 2900mm, identical to the Haishang DM-i. The body retains the fastback design, and the upward segmented waistline gives it a poised, dynamic stance. Fashionable elements such as hidden door handles, 18-inch multi-spoke star-pattern wheels, and sparkling matrix-style taillights are also included. The rear features a large smoked black surround, and the upturned "small ducktail" spoiler further highlights the sporty feel. However, the "Seal 07" badge at the rear sets it apart.
Inside, the car offers two interior color schemes: "Flowing Gray" and "Fragrant Red." The wood grain trim has been replaced with real aluminum accents, but the rest of the interior remains largely unchanged. The 15.6-inch adaptive rotating floating touchscreen pairs with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel and a W-HUD head-up display, creating a high-tech environment. The car is also equipped with BYD's DiLink 50 or DiLink 100 system. Additional features such as a four-spoke multifunction steering wheel, crystal electronic gear lever, 50W wireless phone charging, and ambient lighting elevate the luxury feel.
In terms of features, the 2024 BYD Seal 07 DM-i includes the DiPilot intelligent driving assistance system, 11 airbags, intelligent start/stop, a 360° panoramic camera system, electric driver's seat adjustment, double-layer soundproof glass in the front row, automatic dual-zone air conditioning, and NFC + Bluetooth phone key functionality. Depending on the model, the new car may also offer high-end features such as a panoramic sunroof with a sunshade, a power tailgate, front and rear seat heating/ventilation, rear windshield privacy glass, a 12-speaker Dynaudio sound system, and APA automatic parking.
Regarding power, the 2024 BYD Seal 07 DM-i is equipped with BYD's fifth-generation DM hybrid technology, offering two plug-in hybrid powertrains: 1.5L and 1.5T. The 1.5L version includes a 74kW engine and a 160kW drive motor, paired with either a 10.08kWh or 17.6kWh battery pack, offering pure electric ranges of 70km and 125km, respectively. The 1.5T version comes with a 115kW engine and a 200kW drive motor, allowing the car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, paired with a 17.6kWh battery pack and a 125km pure electric range.
