The Jetour Traveller 2024 2.0TD 4WD Silver Dragon Wing features a major upgrade in off-road style, building on the current Traveler. First, the "Silver Dragon Wing" design aesthetic is introduced, with an exclusive Starship Space Silver color-changing film. The front of the car is equipped with an anti-collision bumper, giving it a tougher look and increasing the approach angle. The center grille is redesigned, and the previous "JETOUR" brand logo is replaced by a through-type LED light strip, which is also blackened, giving the vehicle a more rugged and wild appearance.
In terms of body size, the current model measures 4785/2006/1880mm in length, width, and height, with a wheelbase of 2800mm. Due to the addition of the appearance kit, the Jetour Traveller 2024 Silver Dragon Wing petrol vehicle has slightly different dimensions: 4782/2036/1960mm in length, width, and height, with the same wheelbase of 2800mm. When it comes to cargo space, the current Traveler already offers leading capacity in its class, with more than 50 storage spaces. The new model adds a multifunctional roof platform and a two-stage gangway. It also includes customized side backpacks and independent rear storage boxes, providing greater convenience for loading large luggage for outdoor adventures. The design is both personalized and practical.
The rims have also been upgraded with a new style inspired by the hatch of a space capsule, giving it a sci-fi look. The rivet design on the edge of the rims further emphasizes the vehicle's ruggedness. Additionally, the Jetour Traveller 2024 Silver Dragon Wing is equipped with 255/55 R20 all-terrain off-road tires, which provide ample grip on unpaved roads and are better suited for drainage and mud discharge, enhancing its off-road capabilities.
Inside, the Jetour Traveller Silver Dragon Wing retains the design of the current Traveler, with only minor changes. It features a straight "T"-shaped layout, a four-spoke flat-bottom steering wheel, and a 15.6-inch floating central control screen powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip. The vehicle adopts new color schemes and a car system with a Silver Dragon Wing theme, including an AI smart butler and FOTA smart upgrades. The new car is also equipped with CarIOT peripherals, such as the MK dual-star satellite box, which supports Beidou positioning and satellite calls for emergency support in extreme environments, reinforcing its off-road capabilities. In terms of intelligent driving, the new car, like the current Traveler, also supports the L2.5 intelligent assisted driving system.
For power, the Jetour Traveller 2024 SUV car continues with the horizontally arranged Kunpeng 2.0T engine, delivering a maximum power output of 187kW and a maximum torque of 390N·m. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and BorgWarner's sixth-generation four-wheel-drive system. The vehicle retains a front transverse chassis structure with a load-bearing body layout.
In terms of off-road equipment, the Jetour Traveller 2024 Silver Dragon Wing comes standard with the XWD fully automatic intelligent four-wheel drive system, featuring BorgWarner's sixth-generation intelligent torque manager and an intelligent limited-slip differential lock. This system automatically switches between four-wheel-drive modes, distributing rear-wheel torque and intelligently managing power output. In special "X mode," the Jetour Traveller can intelligently switch between multiple driving modes, including S (Sport), N (Standard), E (Economy), Snow, Grass, Mud, and Rock, along with a creeping mode. These features allow the Silver Dragon Wing to handle a variety of complex road conditions with ease and tackle challenging terrains confidently.
