In terms of design, the Li i8 exterior features a sleek MPV-style silhouette, hidden door handles, integrated full-width taillights, and headlights embedded in the front bumper. A distinctive LED light strip below the windshield serves both as daytime running lights and turn signals. The vehicle comes standard with 20-inch wheels, with optional upgrades to 21-inch wheels.

As for Li i8 specs, the vehicle measures 5,085 mm in length, 1,960 mm in width, and 1,740 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,050 mm-dimensions that closely match those of the Tesla Model X, one of its key competitors.

Inside, the Li i8 interior follows a six-seat layout and continues the brand's signature design style. The cabin features dual 15.7-inch OLED touchscreens, a compact digital display integrated into the steering wheel, and a head-up display for primary driving information. The center console includes two 15W wireless fast-charging pads and Type-C ports, along with a recessed storage compartment. The 2+2+2 seating configuration includes zero-gravity bio-inspired seats in the front row. Additional highlights include a 256-color ambient lighting system, panoramic glass roof, power sunshades, and an integrated fragrance system.

Under the hood, the Li i8 EV features a dual-motor system-204 hp in the front and 340 hp in the rear-for a combined 544 hp and 660 Nm of peak torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds, with a top speed of 180 km/h. Battery options include 90.1 kWh and 97.8 kWh packs, offering CLTC ranges of 670 km and 720 km, respectively.

Even the Li i8 for sale base trim comes generously equipped, featuring dual displays, dual sunroofs, Nappa leather seats, and more. It also includes the full MindVLA advanced driver assistance system, which combines LiDAR, multiple cameras, millimeter-wave radar, and 12 ultrasonic sensors.

The mid-level trim adds a refrigerated/heated storage box in the center armrest and enhanced driving assistance features. The top-tier model further upgrades the rear cabin with integrated ceiling-mounted tablets for passengers.

Li i8 price ranges from RMB 321,800 to 369,800 (approximately $45,000 to $51,800 USD), significantly undercutting the Tesla Model X, which starts at RMB 724,900 (~$99,986 USD) in China-making the Li i8 a standout in terms of value for money. Deliveries for the Li Auto i8 are set to begin in August. Later this fall, the brand is expected to unveil the Li i6, a more affordable all-electric model, further expanding its EV lineup.
