The new Volkswagen Magotan adopts a new family design style, and designs a new matrix headlight with the concept of "Timeless". The internal light strip is integrated with the front grille light strip. The central Volkswagen brand LOGO can be lit, and the through-type light strips on both sides enhance the sense of technology. The front of the car is also equipped with a large-size guide groove shape, and is decorated with black trim, which adds a lot of sporty atmosphere. The side is mainly composed of straight and smooth lines, and the waistline and door design make the whole car more layered. In addition, the car will also adopt a new style of five-spoke two-color wheels, and will be decorated with metal chrome. The rear of the car adopts a through-type taillight, and the overall smoked black design is matched with the internal layered light source shape. The small ducktail design at the rear fully stretches the tail line, making it more stretched, and with the red reflective strip running through the bottom, it further enhances the sportiness of the whole vehicle.
The length, width and height of the body are 4990mm, 1854mm and 1487mm respectively, and the wheelbase is 2871mm.
The new generation of Magotan high-end models will be equipped with three screens: a 15-inch central control screen + an 11.6-inch co-pilot screen + a 10.25-inch LCD instrument. The vehicle will also be equipped with an 8155 chip, the central control screen has a resolution of 2240*1260 (2K), and supports CarPlay/CarLife. The top-end model will also be equipped with DJI's intelligent driving system, supporting IQ. Pilot intelligent driving assistance and L2+ level automatic driving, supporting adaptive cruise, lane keeping, lever change, emergency jam handling, etc. At the same time, the new car will also adopt iFlytek's voice solution, with dual-tone recognition response for the driver/co-pilot, and a recognition accuracy rate of over 95%.
In terms of power, the new generation Magotan is equipped with two power systems, namely a 1.5T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with model D5V, with a maximum power of 160 horsepower (118kW) and a peak torque of 250 Nm; and a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine with model EA888-DTJ, with a maximum power of 220 horsepower (162kW) and a peak torque of 350 Nm; the transmission systems are matched with a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox.
