We recently obtained the declaration information for the new Denza N9 models from the latest issue of the new car declaration catalog published by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The new vehicle features an unmanned cabin with a skylight and a specialized towing device, which includes a retractable electric trailer hook and an electric connector. Positioned as a large SUV, the Denza N9 is equipped with Yisanfang technology and utilizes a hybrid system, offering a pure electric range of 145 kilometers.
In terms of design, the Denza N9 adopts the latest family design language from Denza. The sleek, narrow headlight assembly is paired with a closed front grille, creating an overall sophisticated and imposing visual effect. Additionally, the three-section air intake on the front bumper adds a touch of modernity to the vehicle's appearance. The dimensions of the new model are 5258mm in length, 2030mm in width, and 1990mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3125mm. The maximum ground clearance, including the roof-mounted cover, reaches 1830mm.
The side profile of the Denza N9 showcases a simple yet elegant design, featuring a straight waistline and a slightly sloping roofline that delivers an impressive visual impact. At the rear, the vehicle maintains a square and robust aesthetic with a large roof spoiler, adding a sense of elegance. Notably, the BYD logo is prominently displayed at the bottom of the rear.
The Denza N9 comes standard with a drone cabin, skylight, and body-side cameras. The towing device includes a retractable electric tow hook and an electric connector. The vehicle also offers a wide range of optional features, such as standard exterior mirrors, smoked decorative parts for the D-pillar, front and rear fenders, and wheel arches, as well as matching logos, different rim styles, electric side steps, or the option to exclude side steps. Additional customization options include brake calipers in various colors.
In terms of performance, the Denza N9 SUV car is equipped with a plug-in hybrid system comprising a 2.0T turbocharged engine and three electric motors. The engine delivers a maximum power output of 152kW, while the three motors offer outputs of 200kW for the front motor and 240kW each for the left and right rear motors. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with a 46.992kWh lithium iron phosphate battery pack, providing a pure electric range of 145 kilometers.
