On May 31, the GAC Trumpchi M8 Master Super Hybrid Edition was officially launched, priced at $37,500 USD. The car is mainly for the power system upgrade, will be equipped with 2.0T engine + electric motor hybrid system, matched with 2-speed DHT transmission, fuel consumption is 6.15L/100km, WLTC working range of 1057km.
Specifically, its power system is still equipped with a 2.0T high thermal efficiency engine, its maximum power of 140kW, maximum torque of 330Nm; motor maximum power of 134kW, maximum torque of 300Nm, the transmission system will be matched with a 2-gear DHT gearbox, fuel consumption of 6.15L/100km, WLTC operating range of 1057km.
The new car will be on par with the Master Supreme Edition in terms of exterior and interior design as well as configuration, and will adopt a leap grille front face and be equipped with LED headlamps; the interior adopts a combination with a 14.6-inch center control screen + 12.3-inch LCD instrumentation, is equipped with an 8,155 chip and supports L2-level driver assistance functions, and so on. Its second-row seats are still equipped with heating, ventilation, massage and leg rest functions, and equipped with armrest control screen. In terms of body dimensions, its length, width and height are 5212/1893/1823mm, and the wheelbase is 3070mm.
