Recently, TOPEV learned from relevant channels that Hyundai's latest pure electric car, the IONIQ 9, was officially released. The new car is positioned as a 7-seater pure electric SUV, built on the E-GMP platform. Its exterior adopts the brand's unique design concept, making it not only more aesthetically appealing but also achieving an impressive drag coefficient of 0.259Cd for such a large SUV.

The front of the vehicle adopts a design concept similar to the new Santa Fe, featuring a through-type light strip at the top, combined with a dot matrix light source, making it highly recognizable. Below, there are longitudinal lamp beads and high- and low-beam lights arranged in double vertical bars, which give the car a technological feel. The front bumper is equipped with a silver guard plate and an active air intake grille to enhance the aerodynamic effect.

The side of the car features a unique streamlined design. The super-long body and extremely short front clearly show the characteristics of a pure electric platform. The side window line is designed to slope upwards, with a special chrome strip added to the D-pillar for further enhancement. The hidden electric door handle is not only aesthetically pleasing but also elevates the vehicle's technological appeal.

The rear of the car features vertical taillights, which are white when unlit and echo the front styling. When lit, they form a simple T-shaped red light source, complemented by continuous high-position brake lights above. Once fully lit, the lights form a closed-loop structure that looks distinctive and visually striking.

Inside, the car adopts a soft "oval" design theme. It is equipped with two 12.3-inch dual-linked floating curved screens and an HUD head-up display, creating a three-screen linkage. The interior materials make extensive use of silver, with a combination of white and light green leather that gives the car a futuristic feel.

The steering wheel is designed with three spokes, featuring a three-dimensional shape and two-tone leather, which enhances its dynamic appearance. Overall, the interior retains a large number of physical buttons, including controls for air conditioning, driving mode, and multimedia, offering a more convenient and intuitive experience compared to full-screen operations.

Both the front and rear seats offer a wealth of adjustable options, including heating and ventilation. Notably, the second-row seats feature a rotation function, similar to the Kia EV9.
In terms of power, the new car is equipped with a 110.3kWh battery. The range varies depending on the configuration. The long-range rear-wheel-drive version features a single motor with a maximum power of 160kW and a range of 599km. The dual-motor four-wheel-drive long-range version delivers a maximum power of 226kW with a range of 557km. The dual-motor four-wheel-drive performance version offers a maximum power of 315kW, a range of 510km, and an acceleration time from 0-96km/h in 4.9 seconds.
