From the perspective of the Lixiang L6 chassis, there have been no significant changes compared to the Lixiang L7, L8, and L9; it is still designed with comfort in mind. Although it may not offer the broad range of comfort found with air suspension, it still provides effective shock absorption when dealing with common road irregularities such as manhole covers and surface damage.

The removal of air suspension has reduced the roll of the Lixiang L6, but pitching at the front and rear remains noticeable, which may affect comfort during braking. Compared to previous Lixiang models, the most noticeable reduction in the Lixiang L6 is the motor and battery. The switch to a lithium iron phosphate battery may result in decreased low-temperature performance, though this is not apparent during driving. While the motor's power has decreased, the reduction in curb weight means that the starting power is not significantly downgraded compared to the Lixiang L7.

Lixiang L6 review

Two main points of discomfort when driving the Lixiang L6 are: the steering still lacks power feedback, and the noise becomes more noticeable when the system starts to intervene. However, overall, at this price point, the Lixiang L6 demonstrates a high level of balance. It is difficult to find another model that surpasses it in terms of comfort, practicality, intelligence, or appearance. Therefore, the Lixiang L6 is definitely worth considering, though the more expensive Lixiang models may offer less cost-effectiveness.
