Chassis analysis: How to choose between the 1.4T Volkswagen Tayron and the 1.5 Honda CRV
From the chassis point of view, the steel-aluminum composite subframe, hydraulic bushings, and dual-piston calipers of the Honda CRV are all highlights, while the Volkswagen Tayron is very ordinary. However, in terms of workmanship, compared with the irregular gluing and spraying of the Honda CRV, the craftsmanship of the Volkswagen Tayron looks more regular, which is not only reflected in the chassis, but also in the refinement of the body seams and interior decoration, which are all Volkswagen's better craftsmanship.

However, when driving the two cars, the Honda CRV's chassis experience is better. It shows better toughness than the Volkswagen Tayron and can resolve road vibrations more advanced than the Volkswagen Tayron. In terms of power, the 1.4T Volkswagen Tayron has a more obvious delay in acceleration after 60km, while the 1.5T Honda CRV only shows the rough NVH after the speed exceeds 100. So in terms of driving experience, Honda CRV is better, but it is inferior in tire noise, wind noise and interior workmanship.

In summary, the editor prefers Honda CRV because it is more practical and cost-effective, but there are fewer discounts now and the price is slightly higher.
